Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 10, 2026

Last Updated: April 10, 2026

Deep Prediction Inc, doing business as Rehearsals (“Rehearsals,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides AI-powered research and simulation products. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect information in connection with the Rehearsals Research experience, and the rights you have over your information.

This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Use and, for research participants, the participant consent and release provided before participation.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to participant data collected through the Rehearsals Research website at rehearsalsresearch.com and related participant flows, and to the creation and operation of Twins from that data. It applies to research participants and site visitors worldwide.

Rehearsals operates a separate consumer-simulation product for organizational customers at runrehearsals.com. That product has its own terms and privacy disclosures. This Policy explains how participant data is collected through the Research website and how the Twins and research results derived from it are used, including when those results are made available to Business Customers through the separate customer product. Where local law gives you specific rights, Section 11 describes them.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

Account and Contact Data. Name, email, phone number, account credentials, and profile preferences.

Interview Data. Interview responses, statements, transcripts, and the video and audio recordings of your interview, together with related metadata.

Optional Linked Data. Profile links or other information you choose to provide.

Technical and Usage Data. Device and browser information, IP address, cookies and similar technologies, referrer data, and ad attribution signals such as UTM parameters and click identifiers.

Trust and Safety Data. Signals used to prevent fraud, enforce platform integrity, and confirm that participants are real people.

Payout Information. To pay you, we use a third-party payout provider. We collect only the basic information needed to send your reward through that provider, such as your name and email. You provide any payment or financial account details directly to the payout provider. Rehearsals does not collect or store your bank account numbers, card numbers, or other financial account information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve our products and services.
  • Run interviews, review quality, and perform automated and human verification for trust and safety.
  • Create, train, calibrate, operate, and maintain Twins, and generate insights, summaries, cohorts, and simulations.
  • Develop, train, evaluate, and improve our AI models and other Rehearsals models and technology.
  • Process compensation and rewards.
  • Measure and improve campaigns, marketing, and user acquisition.
  • Communicate with you about the Services.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

Likeness and Twin Rights. Subject to applicable law, our Terms of Use, and the participant consent and release, you grant us and our affiliates rights to use, process, and create derivative works from the information you provide, including creating and operating a Twin of you and using the resulting research results across our products and services. The Terms of Use describe the scope of those rights, your right to delete your data and your Twin, and how those rights may transfer in a corporate transaction. We do not create synthetic audio or video that imitates your voice or face.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where required by law, including under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Consent, for collecting and processing the audio and video recordings of your interview and for creating a Twin. You may withdraw consent at any time, as described in Sections 5 and 10. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
  • Performance of a contract, to deliver the Services, process compensation, and administer your account.
  • Legitimate interests, for security, fraud prevention, analytics, product improvement, and the operation of our business, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligation, to comply with applicable law, including tax, accounting, and law enforcement requirements.

5. Video and Audio Recordings

Your interview is recorded on video and audio. We use these recordings to confirm that a real person is participating, to support trust, safety, and fraud prevention, and to create and operate your Twin. We do not use the recordings to identify you to third parties, and we do not sell, lease, or trade them.

We collect and process the recordings on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time as described in Section 10. To the extent any information derived from the recordings is treated as biometric or other sensitive data under applicable law, we handle it only for the purposes described here and protect it accordingly. Recordings are held internally and are not provided to Business Customers or end users, as described in Section 6.

6. Twins and How We Protect Your Identity

A Twin, together with related model materials, embeddings, simulations, and research results (collectively, “Derived Works”), is created and owned by Rehearsals, subject to your right to delete your data and your Twin under Section 10.

We keep your direct identifiers, such as your name, email address, telephone number, postal address, and account credentials, separate from your Twin and under access controls. Direct identifiers are not embedded in the Twin and are not included in the research results or de-identified excerpts made available to Business Customers or shown to end users. Business Customers and end users do not receive your raw video or audio recordings, your voice, or your direct identifiers. What they receive are modeled responses, de-identified excerpts, and aggregated or cohort-level results.

Because a Twin is built to model a specific, real individual, we do not describe a Twin as anonymous, and we continue to treat your recordings and your Twin as personal information that we protect with the controls described in this Policy.

7. How We Share Information

We may share information as follows:

Within Our Company and Properties. Among Deep Prediction Inc entities, websites, and product properties to operate and improve our services.

Business Customers. Business Customers, and the end users who access research results through them or through our customer product, receive results such as simulation responses, cohort analyses, and de-identified interview quotes. They do not receive your raw video or audio recordings, your voice, your direct social profiles, or your direct identifying information. This is described further in Section 6.

Service Providers and Subprocessors. We use service providers for infrastructure, communications, analytics, trust and safety, AI tooling, and payouts, under contracts that limit their use of data to providing services to us. To deliver your reward, we use a third-party payout provider (such as Tremendous). We share with that provider only the basic information needed to send your payment, such as name and email, and you provide any financial account details to the provider directly. Our current subprocessors are listed at trust.runrehearsals.com.

Advertising and Measurement Partners. We may share limited technical identifiers and event data with advertising and measurement partners. See Section 8.

Legal and Safety Disclosures. We may disclose information where required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rehearsals, our users, or others.

Corporate Transactions. We may disclose, transfer, assign, or license information, including participant data, recordings, Twins, Derived Works, and research results, in connection with a merger, acquisition, consolidation, reorganization, change of control, financing, investment, sale or transfer of all or substantially all assets or equity, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, and to the counterparties, advisors, and financing sources involved in evaluating or completing such a transaction. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that information may be transferred as part of such a transaction. Any successor or acquirer will be contractually required to honor your right to delete your data and your Twin, and to maintain restrictions on the disclosure of raw recordings, voice, video, and direct identifiers to Business Customers and end users that are at least as protective as those in this Policy. An acquisition of Rehearsals does not result in your raw recordings, voice, or video being made available to end users or customers.

8. Advertising and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for analytics, attribution, and performance measurement across Rehearsals Research properties, including integrations with Meta, LinkedIn, X, and Reddit for campaign measurement and conversion attribution. Depending on your jurisdiction, certain advertising-related disclosures may be treated as “sharing” for targeted advertising or as a “sale” under state privacy laws. You can exercise choices over these activities as described in Section 11. We do not sell your Interview Data or your recordings.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, and then delete or de-identify it. The following schedule applies, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, tax, and backup constraints:

Data categoryRetention period
Account and Contact DataFor the life of your account, then deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
Video and audio recordingsWhile your account is active and your Twin is maintained; deleted on a valid deletion request; otherwise deleted or de-identified within 24 months after your last interaction with Rehearsals.
Transcripts and interview responsesWhile your Twin is maintained; deleted on a valid deletion request.
TwinsWhile your account is active; on a valid deletion request, deleted and removed from all systems, including the customer product (see Section 10).
Research results, analyses, and de-identified derived materialsRetained by Rehearsals on an ongoing basis; held in de-identified form that does not identify you.
Payout recordsBasic records (such as name and amount) as required by tax and financial law, typically up to seven years. Financial account details are held by the payout provider, not by Rehearsals.
Trust and Safety and fraud recordsAs needed to protect platform integrity, typically up to 24 months.
BackupsCycled out of backup systems within 90 days after deletion from production systems.

10. Your Right to Delete and Withdraw Consent

You can delete your data and your Twin at any time, for any reason, by deleting your account in the app or by contacting legal@runrehearsals.com. You can also withdraw your consent to further processing at any time.

When you make a valid deletion request, within 30 days we will delete your account, your recordings, your transcripts, your responses, and your Twin from our systems, and we will remove your Twin from the customer product and any other system where it has been deployed, so it can no longer be used in any simulation. Once your Twin is removed, no new recordings, simulations, or research results relating to you will be created.

Deletion is forward-looking. Research results, analyses, simulations, and cohort data that were created from your participation before your request are retained by us, in de-identified form that does not contain your recordings or your direct identifiers. We also retain other de-identified and aggregated materials; information we must keep for legal, tax, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention reasons or to establish or defend legal claims; and routine backups, which cycle out on a regular schedule. We are not required to rebuild general AI models trained across many participants that do not identify you, and we cannot retrieve research results a Business Customer exported before your request.

This deletion right continues to apply to any successor or acquirer of Rehearsals.

11. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information: to access it; to correct it; to delete it; to obtain a copy or port it; to restrict or object to certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale or sharing of personal information, or certain profiling. You also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom. If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the rights described above under the GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to withdraw consent and the right to erasure, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our legal bases are described in Section 4.

California. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information.

Other U.S. states. If you live in a U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have rights comparable to those above, including, where applicable, the right to opt out of targeted advertising and certain profiling.

Other countries. If you are in a jurisdiction with applicable data protection law, you may have similar rights under that law.

How to exercise your rights. Contact us at legal@runrehearsals.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits. You can also manage cookie and tracking choices through the tools provided on our properties and through your browser or device settings.

12. AI and Model Training

We use the information you provide to train and improve our own AI models and to create and operate Twins. We do not permit third-party AI providers to train their generalized models on your data. Where we use third-party AI tooling as a service provider, we do so under contracts that prohibit the provider from using your data to train its own models.

13. International Data Transfers

We and our service providers may process and transfer data in multiple jurisdictions. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses or other recognized transfer mechanisms.

14. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, monitoring, and ongoing security testing. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We maintain additional information about our security practices at trust.runrehearsals.com.

15. Age Requirements

The Services are intended for individuals 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from, or create Twins of, anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, providing additional notice. Changes do not reduce your right to delete your data and your Twin. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
